With Fast Car Hire the prices we quote for Canada are fully inclusive with absolutely no hidden extras.In Canada we use Alamo and National two leading car rental companies and let you choose either based on price, car category or maybe your preference for a particular car rental company.

Unfortunately the car rental industry does have a tarnished reputation mainly caused by its over use of jargon and over eager sales reps trying to sell additional insurance that may not be needed. In addition some customers book online believing they have paid a fully inclusive price only to be lumbered with additional charges when they arrive at the car rental depot to pick up their car. Be assured this will not happen when you book with us.At FAST Car Hire we are committed to providing fully inclusive rental with no hidden extras.
Below we explain what is included and what is not included in CANADA CAR rental while at the same time we try to demystify car rental jargon
We have nothing to hide and can proudly state that the price we quote includes the following with the exception of PERSPRO , One Way Fees if Applicable and Mileage restraints again if Applicable
Included CDW Collision Damage Waiver also Referred to as LDW Loss Damage Waiver
Collision Damage Waiver, also called Loss Damage Waiver is included in your rental and is valid as long as the terms of the rental contract are not violated. CDW / LDW protects the renter from financial responsibility if the car should be stolen, vandalised or damaged in any way, regardless of fault. Complete details are available at the time of rental.Whilst all our rental quotes include CDW some rental companies may have an excess, the excess is the amount that you may have to pay if damage is caused to the car and it is deemed to be your fault.
If Booking with National an Excess Applies as follows.
21-24 years old are liable for the first 500 CA$
25 years + are liable for first 300 CA$.
If booking with Alamo the excess is currently zero.
Driving on unpaved roads will void the CDW cover and the driver will be liable for any damage up to full value of vehicle.
Included LIS Liability Insurance Supplement and UMP Uninsured Motorist Protection (Also called EP Extended Protection)
In many countries it is required by law that the car insurance must indicate unlimited third party coverage. In the USA and Canada this is not the case. Each state establishes a minimum level of coverage required by law and this may be as low as US$5000.LIS covers you for liability to the third parties or bodily injuries and property damage only (not rental vehicle) resulting from an auto accident in a rental vehicle, to the maximum total protection of US$1million. Under EP cover, your third party cover is US$1million and also provides coverage up to US$1million to the driver and passengers in the rental vehicle against death or injury caused by the driver of another vehicle who is under insured, uninsured or who commits a hit and run offence (under - uninsured motorist protection - UMP).
NOT Included Carefree Personal Protection Insurance knows as (CPP or PERSPRO)
This is not included and is entirely optional. It is available locally for an additional charge. This cover is for accident indemnity, accident medical expenses and emergency medical evacuation, death and dismemberment, repatriation of remains and personal effects. This would normally be covered under your personal holiday insurance. You will need to check your personal holiday insurance prior to departure and if you are already covered you will not need this additional insurance offered at the rental depot.Included All Car Rental Taxes
VAT, Government State Tax, Federal and State Taxes that are applicable to car rental.USA are at last going green and some states charge fuel emission charges and environment taxes, Please note these charges if applicable are NOT included in our price.
Unlimited Mileage if you Book with Alamo National May Charge Depending On Pickup Location
Giving you the freedom to explore the USA and Canada without the worry of being lumbered with extra charges based on your milleage. Please note you may drive your car into Canada but not into Mexico.Mileage Caps Exist If rental commences in the following locations.
Jasper mileage is capped at 100 free Kilometers per day or 700 free Kilometers per week
Whitehorse & Brockville capped at 200 free Kilometers per day or 1,400 free Kilometers per week
London mileage is capped at 300 free Kilometers per day or 2,100 free Kilometers per week.
Included Premium Location charges
Airports charge rental companies extra for having a depot on the airport and this charge is passed on to the customer as a premium location tax.Included No Charges Should You Need to Amend Your Booking

Work or Family commitments cause you to cancel that holiday or Business trip, we will cancel booking and provide a no quibble refundCDW and Excess
